Dog Friendly Pub
The Fox Inn is located in a stunning rural location, which is ideal for walking.
We are a dog friendly pub.
Dog Wet Room
The Fox is has a fully equipped dog wet room, which has a lovely shower (locked at a moderate temperature). The use of the dog wet room is free for all guests and a minimal charge for non-residents.
There is a garden to the rear of the Fox with space to let the dogs have a little run. This is easily accessed form the lobby to the bedrooms or they can be walked in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
We have a booklet of heavenly walks available to buy from the Fox Inn bar. All proceeds from the sale of this booklet are donated to the Youth Cancer Trust.
We make sure all of your dogs are looked after here at The Fox Inn, with our very own doggy menu. We have a selection of Trophy pet foods, made with 100% natural ingredients and are wheat gluten free. Just ask a member of staff to see our menu when you visit us. See the full menu below:
***Unfortunately, we have to request that your dogs are at least 1 year old and house trained to stay in the Fox Inn accommodation with you. Please also ensure they have all their vaccinations and are up to date with their flea treatment.
|Testimonials:“I just wanted to tell you that Jo and I spent 2 nights this week at The Fox at Ansty in Dorset for our Wedding Anniversary – we came back yesterday. It was a last minute booking and we found it on the Dog Friendly website …. Fantastic, it was absolutely brilliant and we were thrilled. The owners have been there just 18 months and the whole place is extremely dog friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. Loads of places to walk although we had one of our girls convalescing after a large operation so didn’t go very far there were plenty of footpaths to explore. We met some lovely people (all with dogs) in the bar on the 2 nights we were there and the food was brilliant too. Highly recommended.”
“We spent 2 nights at the Fox Inn along with our 2 labradoodles. The staff were lovely and friendly, our room on the top floor was big with a super kingsize bed, the breakfast wonderful as were the dinners. It’s super dog friendly and even has a wet room which came in very useful after one of my dogs rolled in fox poo.”
