Accessibility
The whole of the ground floor of the pub is wheelchair accessible - please use the Residents Entrance, there is a small step which we have a ramp for should it be required. There is also an accessible WC.
Unfortunately all of our rooms are on the first and second floor which can only been accessed via stairs.

From Dorchester take the A35 towards Poole. After approximately 4 Miles you exit at the Northbrook junction to Piddlehinton also sign posted to Athelhampton House. Take the first exit to Cheselbourne and Dewlish. After about 200m turn right for Cheselbourne. Stay on this road go through Cheselbourne then straight on through Melcombe Bingham and into Ansty. The Fox is on the right hand side opposite the post office.
From Blandford follow the A354 to Dorchester. After about 8 miles from Blandford there is a village called Milborne St. Andrew. Turn right to Milton Abbas, go through village and take the left hand turn sign posted to Milton Abbey School. Pass the school and drive straight through Hilton. At the T Junction at the end of the road turn right. After about 400m turn left into Ansty. The Fox is on your left opposite the Post Office.

From Ringwood follow the A31 to Bere Regis, Then A35 to Dorchester. Exit the A35 at the Northbrook Junction also sign posted Athelhampton House and follow directions to Piddlehinton. Approximately 200m from this junction follow the signs for Cheselbourne. Drive through Cheselbourne then straight through Melcombe Bingham and into Ansty. The Fox is on the right hand side opposite the Post Office.
Great stay, friendly staff, lovely breakfast and wonderful room. Staff really went out of the way to help, we arrived really late and it was no problem. They also made us a pack breakfast when we left too early for breakfast. Nice rural location. Had a meal in the evening which was superb
